How to Play

Divide into teams of 2-6 players per team.
Ideally, each team has 4 players – 1 guesser and 3 clue givers for each round.
(Each team can have just two players, but it will be more fun with more players.)

Each round lasts 2 minutes.
For each round, only one team will play while the other teams watch.
Teams take turns to play.

The team playing appoints one guesser for that round; the other players of that team will be clue givers.
The guesser stands up front and faces the clue givers.

On “Go!”, the clue givers pick up one Bible Drop a Hint Card and take turns to give one-word hints for the guesser to guess what is on the card. The clue givers must give their clues in sequence and are not allowed to talk to each other. They are not allowed to use any variation of any word on the card. If any clue giver uses more than one word or uses a variation of any word on the card, that card is discarded, and a new card is drawn.

The guesser can try to guess the answer at any time but is only allowed only one guess for each card.
The guesser can also choose to pass at any time.
Once the guesser makes a guess or decides to pass, the clue givers draw a new Bible Drop a Hint Card and again take turns to give one-word hints for the new card. (A new card is drawn regardless of whether the guess is correct or not.)

Carry on playing until the 2 minutes are up. Award 10 points for each correct answer.

The Bible is sometimes referred to as Scripture.
Different human authors wrote different books of the Bible.
There are altogether more than 40 human authors who took about 1500 years to write all 66 books of the Bible.
However, the entire Bible tells one unified story because God is the real author behind these human authors.
God’s Spirit worked within the human authors to inspire them to write the Bible.

  2. Hello there!
I just passed by to say THANK YOU!
This is great material. Also, thank you for providing free printables.

  3. Hello I am just a little confuse on the following:
The guesser is allowed only one guess for each card, or he/she can choose to pass.
Once the guesser makes a guess (or passes)

Are you saying that the guesser is allowed to guess only one guess for each clue giver If the guesser does guess correct from the first clue giver than it is the 2nd clue givers time is this it??

Hi Lisa. The guesser doesn’t have to guess after the first clue. For each card, the clue givers continue to take turns to give one-word hints until the guesser is ready to make a guess or decides to pass. When the guesser makes a guess or decides to pass, a new card is drawn regardless of whether the guess is correct or not. Hope this clarifies.
