Preparation
Prepare a variety of objects to be placed on the table.
Alternatively, instead of objects, you may use the 57 Bible Story Cards from Bible Match It Link It, or the 120 Emoji Cards from Emoji Bible Stories Card Game, or download, print and cut up the Now You See, It Now You Don’t Cards.
How to Play
Set up each round by placing a variety of objects or cards on the table.
For each round, allow players 30 seconds to look at the items.
(You can vary this timing according to the age/ability of the players.)
After the given time, have 2 helpers hold up a towel or bedsheet to block the players’ view as you remove 1 object or card from the table.
Place the removed item in a covered box, or simply keep it out of the players’ sight.
Remove the towel or bedsheet.
Players must shout out the item that has “disappeared”.
Reveal the “disappeared” item.
Play as many rounds as you like.
To make the game progressively challenging and exciting, consider starting with fewer objects.
Increase the number of objects and reduce the time given for players to look with each round.
