Each Bible Memory Game set contains 2 decks of bridge sized cards with 2 different colored backs: blue and red. Each deck has 66 cards that are beautifully illustrated to reflect the contents of each of the 66 books of the Bible. The color bar at the bottom of each card indicates which section of the Bible it belongs to.
To play, simply shuffle the cards and place them facedown. Players take turns to turn over any two cards. If the two cards match, the player keeps them and turns over another two cards. If the cards do not match, the player turns them back facedown and the turn passes to the next player. The player with the most matching pairs wins.
This versatile Bible Memory Game can be as challenging or easy as you want it to be. Those who enjoy a demanding game can play with the full set of 66 pairs of cards. For an easier, quicker game, only use cards from the Old Testament, New Testament or selected sections of the Bible. (For example, Old Testament Law, New Testament Gospels, etc.)
Yet another variation is to consider any 2 cards from the same section of the Bible a matching pair. (For example, consider Luke and John a matching pair since both are from the New Testament Gospels section.) This can help players become more familiar with how the Bible is organized.

Love this game for playing in Sunday school and with kids at home. It really helps them to become familiar with the names of the books of the Bible and where they are located (Old or New Testament).

This is not just your typical memory game! You learn not only the books of the Bible, but the different section that each book is in, with the color bar at the bottom of each card. You can make it as long or as short as you want it to be, while testing your memory. So, you can use cards from just the Old or New Testament, or to make it even easier, a section just of that testament. Decreasing the number of cards has made it a bit more manageable with our young daughter, but if adults wanted a challenge, try playing with all 66 pairs!

We got this game at the perfect time, when the girls were learning the books of the Bible. This game has been a great visual resource for helping them become familiar with the names of the books of the Bible. We also use the cards to play Go Fish, which the girls also love playing.

Played for the 1st time at church Tuesday night with 7 kids in ages 9 to 15. Even with the wide range in ages we all had fun. Oh, I played too. I think it will help them learn the books of the Bible.
I would recommend this game.

Very fun and easy to play game! We used half the deck to make it a little easier for our 5 and 8-year-old. But like the Bible Bingo, it’s really neat that you also learn the sections of the Bible while learning the names of the books.

I loved this for teaching the Books of the Bible. My Sunday School kids have no idea about the books, so I just started with the first ten books. We play it like Memory Game then we put them in order twice. I also have played a Wee Sing books of the Old Testament song for them. Our Sunday School material is in the Old Testament so that is why I started there. I also have a poster with the names of the Books of the Bible on it. Super helpful!!
