The Bible tells us that Jesus wants us all to be a blessing to people both near and far. Though not all of us have been called to be missionaries, ALL of us have been called to be his witnesses and to show practical love to those around us.
What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

This game is simple to learn and it’s very fun. The game objective is straightforward and easy for children to pick up quickly. However, it also carries a concepts that allow Players to strategize and plan in this game.
The components of the game is made well, fit snuggly into the board they provide.

This game is fun and teaches the kids to strategize and plan. My 8-year-old said that it helps you experience what it’s like being a missionary.

This game has a little more strategy to it than some of the other games we’ve played from Bible Games Central. The goal is to get from your start location to the final destination, which is written on the card, and to gather all of the resources you need on the way. This posed multiple challenges for my children to work towards! Building the road strategically so it ended up where they wanted it to was so much fun for them!

Mission: Ends of the Earth is a more complicated Bible Games Central game, but has the potential to be the most fun! It’s for ages 8 and up. You are a missionary traveling to a specific village bringing needed resources such as food, medicine, solar lamps, Bibles, clothes, fuel, and water purifiers to the people in need there! What a great way to learn more about missions.

This is such a great game and I love the emphasis on missions. We enjoyed it as a family and it would be great for youth groups too!

If your kids like strategy/building games like Carcassone, this is a similar concept. You have to think ahead about how to build your path to reach the correct destination, while also collecting the resources for your village. It’s a really fun game to play with the family and I love the connection to mission work!
Claire –
This a a fun game that we have played many times. Between the laughs we have conversations about what it means to be a missionary. We love the strategic element.
Kim –
This game gets more interesting each time we play as we warm up to the various strategic possibilities. (WARNING: may cause fights.) Haha -we really get into it!

A great game of strategy, which my daughter is very into right now. Great discussions about what it might be like to live the life of a missionary too.
